If hot link protection of C panel is enabled or turned on then no one else can use your website image, video, content etc. on their website so you need hotlinking on your site. Hotlinking means that the file is hosted on your site but someone else is using the file you hosted on their website using the file not on their site. It can be image, video or content. Suppose you have a website. You can use Hot Link Protection Security on your site from C Panel to prevent someone from embedding videos, emails or content from that website into their own website.

Let's see how to use hot link protection security in C panel. For that we need to enter hosting c panel. Enter the username and password to login to the hosting c panel.

After logging into the C panel, you will see a dashboard like this.

Scroll down and from Security option you will see Hot Link Protection Click here.

Then an interface like this will show

If you want to turn on hot link protection on multiple websites of your C panel, then provide the links of all the websites here. And if you want to turn on hot link protection on only one site, then give the link of that one site here.

Block direct access for the following extension and write down any files you want to hotlink protection here.

Then enable Hotlink Protection is currently disabled.

After enabling you will see that hotlink protection is turned on on your site. After that no one can use video, audio, content from your site.
